Kia ora, Talofa,

I am Miriama Tolo, the Wellington, Wairarapa and Kapiti Regional Representative on National Executive since 2019

I am the Regional Manager for WellStop Southern. Our team covers Wairarapa to Kapiti and across the Hutt Valley and Wellington. We work with Adults, Adolescents, Children and their whanau. I have worked at WellStop since mid-2020 as Assistant Manager and then more recently as Regional Manager within a diverse team of Clinicians from differing disciplines. I have worked as a Counsellor, in various agencies, in the community, for courts, at tertiary institutions, PHO and as a private practitioner for the past 20+ years. Completing an undergraduate degree in Counselling with Postgraduate Supervision via Weltec and Health Science at Otago University. I have worked in Wellington for much of my career with an interlude in Auckland for a few years when I thought the weather would be better there. I am a Wellingtonian, from a big family and spent most of my life in the city centre and more recently live in the ‘burbs’. I have a daughter and three very busy and active grandsons. I am active with family and an extended fanau across the Pacific rim which ensures that life is rarely boring and travel is necessary.

Waikato / Tauranga Regional Representative

Maria Reynolds

reynoldsmaria17@gmail.com
Phone: 027 620 9799

I have been a member of NZAC since 1996. I have been the Waikato/Tauranga Regional Representative on National Executive since 2018. I am also a member of the NZAC Māori Roopu.

I live in Hamilton and have over 25 years of counselling experience. Most of that time I worked as a Student Counsellor at Waikato University.
I offer cultural supervision to those seeking NZAC membership because people are priceless and problems are costly.
Narrative Therapy; Family Therapy; Māori models of therapy is what I integrate into my counselling practice. Since January 2018, I work privately and have registered with the Family Court, ACC sensitive claims, and Vitae.
