Provisional Applications

 
Provisional Membership can be achieved through four different pathways outlined below.

    • NZAC Accredited Education Provider
  • This application is for those who studied through an accredited counsellor education programme 
  •  
    • NZAC Non-Accredited Education Provider
  • This application is for those with a counselling qualification in New Zealand obtained before 2019.  
  •  
    • Particular Circumstances
  • This application is for those who work in a counselling adjacent field like Social Work and do not have a counselling qualification.
  •  
    • Overseas Counsellor Qualifications
  • This application is for those with a counselling qualification obtained outside of New Zealand

Processing of Provisional Membership Applications generally takes three months.
